Set amidst the rolling countryside of Kirkcudbright, Kirkland Mill offers the perfect location for artists, fishermen, families, golfers and those wishing to seek out the treasures of Dumfries and Galloway. Art galleries, wildlife park, museums, golf courses, craft shops and the working fishing port are all close by.
Kirkland Mill is a newly and lovingly renovated property fitted and equipped to the highest standards. Set in 2 acres of exquisite countryside complete with a private 1/2 acre trout pond as well as home to pheasants, rabbits, deer, fox and assorted birds and aquatic wildlife.
Nestled behind Cannee Farm, the quietness and seclusion of Kirkland Mill will suit those wishing to set their own pace yet is only a 10 minute walk to the artist's town of Kirkcudbright.

Accommodation
Kirkland Mill comes complete with an open plan lounge/dining room with spectacular views onto the pond and countryside behind.
There are wood floors made from local trees felled from and around the site.
There is a wood fire with double doors on two sides and a free supply of wood is provided.
The Mill has full central heating, double glazing, large gardens, patio with gas barbecue.
There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the pond and has a double bed and en-suite bath/shower room with toilet and sink.
The second bedroom has two twin beds and ensuite shower room with toilet and sink.
The third bedroom has two twin beds and separate shower room with toilet and sink next door.
We operate a NO SMOKING policy. Older children are welcome but parents are cautioned about the large open trout pond.
Additional Information
The Mill is available from Saturday to Saturday - arrivals 3pm and departures 10am. Shorter breaks may be available out of season and subject to availability at the time.
Should you have any special needs or requests please mention them at the time of booking and we will be happy to do our utmost to help.
A welcome pack is provided courtesy of Galloway Smokehouse and tea and coffee, sugar and milk are also provided on your arrival.
Trout Pond
Kirkland Mill comes complete with it's own private trout fishing pond.
The pond is stocked 4 times per year, should you wish extra large fish to be stocked before your visit please let us know and we can discuss the cost.
